Hi there! I’m Drew Kirkwood

Ever since I was young, I’ve had an insatiable curiosity for fixing and tinkering with things around the house. My parents, though sometimes wary of the chaos I might cause, were incredibly supportive and encouraged my hands-on approach. They’d hand me tools like paintbrushes, painter’s tape, nuts and bolts, and small blocks of wood, unknowingly setting the stage for my future in home renovation.

When I was old enough, they bought me my first handsaw. I used it endlessly, and at age 12, my mom and I built my very first bookshelf – a piece I still cherish to this day. That project ignited a passion, and from there, I started building everything from tables and birdhouses to helping with larger projects like painting and wallpaper installation around the house.

Now, I’m fortunate enough to work alongside a fantastic group of guys who share the same passion for home renovations. Our motto is simple: No job is too small. Whether it’s installing window curtains, repairing deck boards, fixing water-damaged roofs, or drywalling interiors – we’re here to help. I have volunteered with the House of Lazarus and Handyman Heroes in Mountain to assist local families in need, restoring their homes to a like-new condition.

It’s truly fulfilling to work on these small but impactful projects in the community. Each job, no matter how big or small, makes a real difference in people’s lives. I’ve always loved doing my own home renovations, and I’m thrilled to now be able to use my experience and skills to help others.

I’ve been with Local 613 for five years and there’s no stopping us now. We’re committed to staying here and continuing to make a positive impact one project at a time.
